Lifted and Laid is the debut novel from Scottish writer Juniper Shadow. We believe it pairs perfectly with the Spirited Blether gins, but you can buy it here as a solo purchase and enjoy it with whichever gin you like! Over 18s only, explicit content.

About the book -

Aimee and Dan are work enemies, each convinced that the other is at the heart of their workplace problems. Then, on a day when Aimee really needs everything to go right … the lift breaks down and leaves them trapped, together, between floors.

Forced to confront their issues head on, Aimee starts to realise that maybe Dan isn’t the enemy she believed him to be and the attraction they have both denied begins to spark.

The last thing Aimee had on her radar was another workplace romance – she’s still divorcing the last one of those she tried, and she desperately needs to find the energy to put herself first, for once.

Dan is devoted to work, but when he finally sees what he could have if he lifts his gaze … he plots a course towards a happiness that is just out of reach.

A funny, spicy, miscommunication romance about self-discovery and the unexpected possibilities that come along when you dare to chase your dreams.
